A US-based mid-market AEC practice
Two streams, one engagement. We started by removing manual touchpoints from core operating workflows, then unified the data behind them — so leadership stopped chasing numbers and started using them.
The problem
A mid-market AEC firm was running its operating workflows by hand — repeated copy-paste between systems, brittle handoffs, and a CFO month-end compile that consumed the better part of two weeks every cycle. Leadership had data, but it was scattered across six source systems, and reporting was a chase.
The approach
Two streams, run together. The first removed manual touchpoints from three core operating workflows. The second unified the underlying data — six siloed source systems consolidated into a single decision-ready data estate, with a custom ETL pipeline and an executive reporting layer on top.
The result
Manual clicks across the three core workflows fell ~99% in two months. The CFO’s two-week month-end compile was replaced by an automated daily report. Leadership stopped chasing numbers and started using them in operating decisions.
